Expert support through capacity assessment of services for support of victims and capacity building

July 2024 – December 2024

Donor: The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women in Serbia

In the next six months, the Belgrade Center for Human Rights will present key guidelines for the improvement of services that provide support to victims of crimes within courts and prosecutor’s offices.

The goal of this project is the creation of a document that will represent a significant step towards strengthening the efficiency and quality of services offered by these services. Through a detailed analysis of current practices and needs, as well as through recommendations for improvement, the document will identify key areas for further development and improvement of victim support.

Furthermore, based on the insights from the previously described document, training sessions will be organized for providers of victim support services at the courts and prosecutor’s offices.
