Statement concerning the new Amnesty International report on the treatment of refugees in Serbia
On 6 July 2015, Amnesty International published a report on the position and treatment of refugees and migrants in Serbia, Macedonia and Hungary. The report contains allegations of unlawful push-backs to Macedonia and ill-treatment by the Serbian police. (more…)
World Refugee Day Announcement
In adopting Resolution 55/76 of 4 December 2000, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 20 June World Refugee Day, which has been observed as such since 2001 in order to raise awareness among the general public of the plight of refugees. (more…)
