The Platform of Organizations for Cooperation with United Nations Human Rights Mechanisms has been founded by leading Civil Society Organizations that have significant experience in reporting to UN human rights mechanisms and follow-up to recommendations, recognizing the need and importance of a continuous and evidence-based reporting process, monitoring the implementation of recommendations that mechanisms send to the Republic of Serbia as well as interact with government bodies for monitoring the implementation of the UN human rights recommendations.
