On 7 December in the Human Rights House Belgrade Centre for Human Rights organized the round table: Inclusion of refuges into education system in the Republic of Serbia.
Speakers on the round table were Mr Nenad Ćirić, director of the primary school Branko Pešić, client of the Belgrade Centre for Human Rights who attended both primary and secondary school in the Republic of Serbia. Besides speakers directly involved into the education system, Mrs Anne-Els Jansen from Dutch Council for Refugees presented project Plan Einstein that aims to contributes to better understanding between migrant community and locals from neighbourhoods where the camp are located. The idea of the project is to help better integration through learning and living together. After discussion, drama group consisting of young refugees and local, youth drama group presented a segment of a performance they have been preparing through workshops during the year.
Round table was organised as part of the project Art of Integration that Belgrade Centre for Human Rights implements in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Dutch Council for Refugees.
